Contents:
Master''s Programme in Electrical Engineering consits of three semesters. The programme is specialized in control of dynamical systems. All courses and instructions within the programme are taught in English. The courses are given during two semesters and include:
Modelling and identification of dynamical systems
Model based control
Matlab and simulink
Measurement systems
Wireless communication
Intelligent systems
The programme includes also a thesis work during the third semester, with application to industrial problems or researched based problems within our research group at the department.
The programme is run in a co-operation between DalarnaUniversity (Sweden), Berner Fachhochschule (Switzerland), Fachhochschule Kaiserslautern (Kaiserlautern Germany), Helsinki Polytechnic (Finland).
At least one semester is spent at DalarnaUniversity, and the other semesters can be spent in different countries within INHEE partners. Semester one and two give you a chance to choose individually between different specializations.During semester three, you will apply your experience to industrial problems by doing a thesis work.It is also possible to study the three semesters entirely in Borl?nge. In this case you have also the opportunity to do a research-based thesis semester within our research group in the department.

The forms of instruction are specific to each course and are described in the course descriptions. Most of the courses make extensive use of computer-based learning technologies in order to provide a flexible learning environment.

This is a master level programme wich runs in a co-operation among H?gskolan Dalarna (Borlnge, Sweden) and several universities in Europe such as Berner Fachhochschule (Switzerland), Fachhochschule - Kaiserslautern (Germany), Hogeschool Zeeland (the Netherlands) and Helsinki Polytechnic (Finland). Composition of the Programme :
The Master''s Programme in Advanced Computer Graphics consist of two years (four semesters) of studies for a Master of Science (translation of the Swedish ''magisterexamen''). The first 3 semesters are occupied by courses, of which approximately half are compulsory. During the fourth and last semester the students will undertake a research project concluding with the open presentation of a Master''s thesis.

The Content of the Programme :
The syllabus for the programme may vary from year to year, but the main structure remains. There are certain possibilities for students to exchange courses (for example if a student in previous studies has read a course that corresponds to a course within the program) or add courses after consulting the programme director, and decision in the Board of Studies.

Content and scope :
The programme comprises 1 year of full time studies, 60 ECTS credits. The first semester (spring) starts with two courses with the theme Strategy and Leadership. In the courses different perspectives on culture and strategic management are discussed. The Scandinavian perspective on management is introduced, presenting contributions from researchers active in the Scandinavian business context. The following course goes deeper into the concept of culture and discusses that of nations as well as organisations. The first semester ends with a first thesis on a chosen subject connected to the content of the course. The course work and the thesis form together a base for the studies in the second semester. The second semester (autumn), focuses on international business. The first part of the course deals with company strategy which is studied partly from a rational perspective where developing strategies is seen as a process comprising three stages: the analysis of a company''s environment, the formulation of a strategy and finally its implementation. In addition, company strategies are discussed from the perspective of a process, where the strategy adopted is seen as the result of world-view, values, learning ability and capacity for change of leading players. The second part of the course is devoted to international business, where the internationalisation potential of an industry and the globalisation of the business environment form two natural points of departure. As a course of development leadership and renewal in transitional companies focusing on internationalisation will be studied. The autumn semester ends with a Master thesis with the aim of extending the ability to deal with problems independently and in a scholarly manner within the sphere of business economics. Both the process and the thesis as such should be characterised by a high degree of awareness of methodology and reflect a critical and scientific approach.
