| There is plenty of accommodation in Middlesbrough, which is competitively priced. If you are a full-time student, attending the University, you can choose to live in University Managed Residences, which are situated on campus, or in University Managed Housing in the private sector. Campus residences and private sector accommodation are located within easy walking distance of University facilities. If you are attending a University of Teesside Partnership College you should contact the named officer at the college. Currently, the University has 737 bed spaces in four University Managed Residences (UMR). A further 600 places are available through the University Managed Housing Scheme (UMH) (properties that are owned by private landlords but managed by the University). The Accommodation Service tries to resolve the housing needs of all full-time students. A small, friendly team of staff is available to give advice, and assistance, on any housing related issues.
